CAB goof-ups continue

By Correspondent

KOLKATA, Nov 8 The Cricket Association of Bengal has been in the news for all its lapses and bloopers throughout the first test match between Indian and the West Indies which was the 199th match for the little master Sachin Tendulkar.

From MS Dhonis pointing out the errors on the poster of the master hanging on the massive electronic scoring board displaying Celebrating Sachine Tendulkars 199th Test match to Welcome Mr Anjali Tendulkar and also to the media police brawl during the practise sessions ahead of the match, the CAB has been amazingly full of errors. And funnily, the latest addition to the list of bloopers is the theft of as many as 30 match tickets from the red-cordoned zone of CAB Club House.

According to the CCTV footage, a person was caught on the camera stealing match tickets and a mobile phone on November 5. Sources say that the person entered the area wearing an accreditation card which was also stolen and fled with the tickets and the cell phone right under the nose of brimming security arrangements. Meanwhile, an FIR has been lodged at Maidan police station on Friday and Police is investigating the case.

The CAB officials have been passing the buck for all these errors on the shoulders its helping agencies, but the footage has left them wanting for answers for sure.
