GUWAHATI, Dec 16 - Under the project �Looms of Assam� of the Assam State Rural Livelihood Mission, a buyer-seller meet will be held at NEDFi House on December 18.
The objective of the project is to revitalise the traditional handloom weaving activities through value chain development and strengthening SHGs to enhance livelihood of the local communities.
Access Development Services is the implementing partner of the project in the two districts of Majuli and Lakhimpur. There are a total of 1000 beneficiaries � 500 from each district. At the buyer-seller meet, six producer groups of Majuli and six from Lakhimpur will present their products, including handicraft.
