GUWAHATI, May 25 � The Assam Down Town University has announced a regional-level business idea contest, �Manthan� in association with the Centre for Innovation, Incubation and Entrepreneurship, Deutsche Gesellschaft Fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, Young Indians and Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship. The official announcement was made in the auditorium of Down Town Hospital on Saturday.
The contest includes a month-long process aimed at identifying potential business ideas which will result in the growth of the Northeast region and to nurture them in the business incubator �Down Town venture labs� with necessary infrastructure and seed funding. The process also includes a capacity building session for the potential entrepreneurs by the experts from CIIE, GIZ, AdtU and regional successful entrepreneurs.
