Building of Refinery High School renovated

GUWAHATI, June 12 - The Guwahati Refinery High School building at Noonmati, which was renovated following damage due to flash floods and water-logging during the monsoon season, was today inaugurated by Dispur MLA Atul Bora, a press release stated.

Bora lauded the efforts of Guwahati Refinery for renovating the building and helping the students receive education. He urged the students to work hard and excel in their exams.

Guwahati Refinery executive director Jogen Barpujari said the renovation was carried out with extra commitment as the refinery was emotionally attached to the school.

The refinery also provided the school with a public announcement system and 150 chairs for its assembly hall. Books and gift cards of Rs 5,000, Rs 4,000 and Rs 3,000 were also presented by the refinery to students of the school who performed well in this year�s HSLC examination.
