Builder held over cruelty to wife

GUWAHATI, July 31 - The Panbazar women police unit today arrested a builder, Paban Dowari of Kahilipara, on charges of subjecting his wife to cruelty and causing miscarriage. He has been booked under various sections of the IPC, including 498(A), 313, 384, 497, 506, 354, 376, 511 and 34. Police said the accused also tried to get a divorce using a forged signature of his wife. Dowari�s driver Krishna Kanta Roy has also been arrested.
