GUWAHATI, March 8 � Dr Praganadashree Mahathero, chief priest of the Guwahati Buddhist Temple, Bamunimaidan here expired today at 3:45 pm in the temple premises. He had been suffering from illness for the last four months.
The disciples of the priest from various parts of Assam would be coming to the temple to pay their last respects to the venerable priest. Details of the funeral rites will be finalised within seven days, the Guwahati Buddha Vihar Samity said in a statement.
