GUWAHATI, March 20 � Bud Cricket Club set up title clash with Navajyoti Club in the Suren Ram Phookan Maharana Centenary Cricket Tournament with a facile seven-wicket victory against River Rine Club in the second semifinal.
In the one-sided affair at the Judges� Field here today, River Rine could score 134 losing all the wickets in 28.2 overs. Laxman Sikdar was their top scorer with 22 as Dhiraj Goswami ripped through their batting line up removing five scalps.
Bud batsmen took their team to the target in 22.1 overs. Top orders Kaushik Giri (56), Mukut Kalita (22) and Roshan Basfor (20) batted with confidence and gave their team an easy victory.
