Bud score 180, Navajyoti 102/4

GUWAHATI, April 2 - On the opening day of the two-day second semifinal match of the GSA A Division Cricket League for the Nabin Chandra Tamuly Trophy, Bud Cricket Club scored 180 in their first innings. At stumps, Navajyoti were 102 for the loss of four wickets.

Electing to bat first at the IIT ground in North Guwahati today, Bud CC batsmen were in deep trouble as Riyan Parag produced a devastating spell of bowling. He took eight wickets conceding 50 runs. Atul Singh was Bud�s top scorer with 73 off 143 deliveries. Tarjinder Singh (26) and Joydeep Singh (25) were the other notable contributors.

Sunzow Brahma (59 n.o.) led the Navajyoti challenge while chasing the target. They need 79 runs to take the first innings lead with six wickets in hand. Tarjinder walked away with three wickets giving away 25 runs.
