GUWAHATI, Feb 18 � River Rine Club caused an upset over Pace Cricket Club to pave way for Nabajyoti Club to enter the final of the Bud T-20 Challenge Cricket Tournament for the Dhireswar Kalita Trophy. In a crucial Group B match of the championship at the Nehru Stadium here today, River Rine posted a 11-run victory against Pace, which was a must-win situation with better run-rate. But their lost took Nabajyoti, which topped the group with three wins, into the final. In the second match of the day, which was of academic interest only, City Cricket Club outplayed Santipur Athletic Club by seven wickets. The final is on Sunday.
