GUWAHATI, March 2 � With a convincing 50-run victory against Santipur Athletic Club, Bud Cricket Club clinched the Servo 19th Guwahati Challenge Trophy.

In the final played at the Judges� Field here today, Bud CC scored a commendable 211 for six with man-of-the-match Subhadeep Ghosh (98 off 82 balls) being the top run-getter.

Santipur�s run chase was not satisfactory as barring Bitop Mahanta (25), Tauhid Ali Talukdar (21) and Biplab Saikia (20) nobody could provide able support to the team and were all out for 161.

Niraj Tiwari (Santipur) was declared as man-of-the-series while Parvez Aziz (Nabajyoti) and Joydeep Baruah (River Rine) received the best batsman and bowler respectively. Sunil Ranjan Gogoi (Nabajyoti) and Manoj Malo (Santipur) were selected as best fielder and best wicket keeper respectively.

The tournament was organised by River Rine Club
