GUWAHATI, March 12 - Bud Cricket Club won their match of the Nabin Chandra Tamuly Memorial GSA A Division Cricket League against SG Club by seven wickets at the IIT Ground in North Guwahati today.
SG Club could only manage 112 in 30.2 overs in the 35-over encounter.
All-rounder Tarjinder Singh ripped through the SG batting order with a four-wicket haul while Roshan Jha (30) was the only notable contributor with the bat for SG Club.
In-form Tarjinder again came good with the bat as he smashed an unbeaten 62 off 72 balls which virtually enabled Bud CC to reach the target in 22.5 overs losing three wickets. Hirakjyoti Das contributed 30.
