GUWAHATI, March 6 - Bud Cricket Club, Guwahati annexed the JKM Trophy of Excellence All Assam Prize Money Cricket Tournament defeating Cricket Club of Dibrugarh by seven wickets in the final at the Dibrugarh Outdoor Stadium today. Electing to bat, the Dibrugarh side failed to make an impact as the side went on to be bundled out for 81 runs in 26.1 overs. Jyotiraditya Chetia contributed 16 runs off 24 balls while Mrinmoy Dutta scored a run a ball 14. Rahul Singh was the wrecker in chief with figures of six for 11 in 5.1 overs while Gokul Sharma scalped two wickets conceding 15 runs in 5 overs. In reply, Bud batsmen put up 84 runs losing three wickets in 15.1 overs. Manoj Malo top scored with 29 runs off 42 deliveries while Mujibur Ali with 17 and Roshan Basfor with 12 were the other notable contributors. Amit Sinha, Jitumoni Kalita and Mrinmoy Dutta picked up a wicket each. Rahul Singh was adjudged the man of the match for his splendid show with the ball while Roshan Basfor of Bud CC walked away with the man of the series award.
