BTC employees warn UPPL

MUSHALPUR, Aug 3 - A meeting of the employees appointed by BTC was held in the Mushalpur Children Park premises in Baksa district today under the chairmanship of Dipak Ramchiary.

The employees alleged that UPPL has been constantly harassing the employees of BTC appointed since 2005 by raising continuous objections regarding the legal validity of their appointments. They protested against the harassment by the party and warned it that if they are subjected to further harassment a massive stir will be started.

The meeting decided to form the Sadou Bodoland Kendriya Karmachari Parishad and a nine-member ad hoc committee was formed in this regard with Dipak Ramchiary as president and Nabin Kalita as chief convenor. The meeting decided to hold an urgent meeting of the association at Bodoland Darbar Hall, Barama at 10 am on August 11 with the representatives of the four BTAD districts and requested the presence of ten members from each district.
