GUWAHATI, Dec 27 - The 15th All India BSNL Carrom Tournament got underway at the Don Bosco School premises here today. The BSNL Assam Telecom Circle has organised the tournament which will conclude on December 30.
Around 150 players from eleven telecom circles from Assam, Andhra Pradesh, Delhi (NTR), Gujarat, Karnataka, Maharashtra, NE-I, NE-II, Orissa, UP (East) and West Bengal are participating in the tournament.
SL Singh, chief general manager, Bihar Telecom Circle was present during the inaugural ceremony as the chief guest while Fr Sebastian Mathew, Principal, Don Bosco School was present as the guest of honour. Rajeev Yadav, CGM, Assam Telecom Circle also the Chairman of the BSNL Assam Telecom Circle Sports and Cultural Board conducted the inaugural ceremony, stated a release.
