GUWAHATI, March 14 - BSF emerged best team in the All India Police Shooting Championship which concluded at the 4th AP Bn campus here today. Assam Rifles came second in the meet.

Altogether 809 shooters from 33 teams took part in the meet. Among the State teams, Tamil Nadu Police came top.

Mukesh Singh of BSF became best in pistol/revolver event while in carbine shooting Samaresh Pal, also from BSF secured the top slot. Assam won one silver and a bronze.

In the closing function Assam DGP Mukesh Sahay was present as chief guest and gave away the prizes. IB Additional Director GB Singh was also present on the occasion.
