AGARTALA, July 24 - The headquarters of the BSF, Tripura Frontier, located at Salbagan on the outskirts of the capital town, has been declared a containment zone, official sources said today.
In an official notice, the District Magistrate of West, Dr Sandeep Mahatme, said the BSF headquarters at Salbagan has been declared a containment zone. One kilometre radius of the place has been sealed.
Under the stipulated guidelines, no one is allowed to go out of the BSF headquarters. Legal action will be taken if anybody is found violating the containment zone guidelines.
Earlier, two BSF battalion headquarters were marked as containment zones at Jawaharnagar in Ambassa following a massive outbreak of COVID-19.
As of now, Tripura has 130 containment zones.
