BSF, BGB hold flag meet in Mizoram

AIZAWL, July 10 - A flag meeting between Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and India�s Border Security Force (BSF) was held on Wednesday at Dimigari in Mizoram.

In the meeting, Lt Col Debashish Naryian Paul, commandant of Panchagarh 12 BGB and Binner Paul, commandant of 159 Battalion of BSF, were present.

The commandants of the two forces discussed various issues including security scenario, petty smuggling and other routine issues related to border management, a BSF communiqu� said.

The meeting was held in cordial, positive and constructive atmosphere and both sides agreed for expeditious implementation of the decisions taken and committed to each other to maintain peace and tranquility along the international border, it added.
