By Correspondent

ITANAGAR, `June 6 - The Border Roads Organisation (BRO) has recently repaired a key bridge on the Daporijo-Taliha road in Upper Subansiri district of Arunachal Pradesh and re-opened it to traffic.

Considered as the lifeline for both Army as well as civilian population of the district, the 190-feet Bailey bridge near Sipi village had deteriorated owing to vagaries of weather as well as heavy traffic.

Project Arunank undertook the repairs by immediately deploying its Task Force. All the damaged parts were replaced despite incessant rains. The bridge was opened to traffic by evening the same day.
