GUWAHATI, July 21 - The Indian Council for Child Welfare, New Delhi, has invited nominations for National Bravery Award, 2016, in the age group 6-18 years. According to a press release from the council, the deed should be "an act of spontaneous selfless service in the face of risk to life or threat of physical injury or an act of courage against a social evil/ crime". The incidents of bravery should be between the period from July 1, 2015 to June 30, 2016. The prescribed pro forma is available in the office of the Indian Council for Child Welfare, Assam State Branch, Ambari, GNB Road, Guwahati, Phone no: 8011001195, email id - [email protected] and also may be collected from its district council office. The last date of submission of nominations is August 30, 2016.
