Brain Jam Open Quiz at Pragjyoti ITA on Oct 31

GUWAHATI, Oct 26 � Brain Jam Open Quiz - an annual event eagerly awaited by quiz buffs across the region would be held on October 31 at the Pragjyoti ITA Centre, Machkhowa.

Popular quizmaster Barry O�Brien, known for his wit, will conduct the quiz for the fourth year in a row. The theme of the quiz this year is �Against all odds.�

The prelims of the quiz would be held at 12-noon, while the finals would start at 5 p.m. The quiz is open for all the willing participants above Class 11.

The popularity of Brain Jam is soaring with each passing year and the event has become one of the best quizzes not only in Northeastern region but across the Eastern region.

�This quiz aims at providing a good platform to the quiz buffs of the region. Ace quizmaster, educationist and writer, Barry O�Brien ensures that the event is at par with international standards,� Anoop Khanna, chief executive of Priya Communication, the organizers of the event, said.

�The preliminary round for the final quiz to select six top teams would begin at 12-noon. Each team will comprise of two participants. The finals will take place from 5 pm. The winning team would walk away with a package trip to Singapore and laptops, besides a host of other prizes. The runners-up team would get two tickets to Malaysia,� he added.
