GUWAHATI, Aug 9 - A total of 12,14,398 BPL connections have been released under the Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Vidyutikaran Yojana (RGGVY) under the 10th and 11th Plan periods.
The areas which remain deprived of electricity connection will be covered phase-wise under the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana during the 12th Plan period, Minister of State for Power Pallab Lochan Das said in a written reply to a question by AIUDF MLA Abul Kalam Azad in the Legislative Assembly on Monday.
