Boxing organiser passes away

GUWAHATI, Jan 22 - A leading organiser of the game of boxing in Assam, Rajen Dutta, an ex Indian army man passed away today after a brief illness. He was 64.

Dutta was a founder member of the Dergaon District Boxing Association and at present he was an adviser of the organisation. He was also a well wisher of the Assam Amateur Boxing Association (AABA). Secretary of the AABA Hemanta Kalita on behalf of the State boxing body condoled the death of the boxing organiser.
