GUWAHATI, May 28 � Bordoichila, a pioneering magazine founded in 1931 by Kamal Chandra Baruah and later on edited by Siva Prasad Baruah, has entered its 84th year. An essay writing competition on various topics of social significance held on the occasion selected five winners � namely, Munmi Bhattacharyya, Bandita Sarma, Mridula Das, Pabitra Sarma and Pulakesh Rai Baruah, said a statement issued by Dr Roman Sarma, editor of Bordoichila.
