Boost for BPF ahead of polls

MUSHALPUR, March 16 - In a major boost to the Bodoland People�s Front (BPF) ahead of polls, nine important office-bearers of the Oboro Suraksha Samiti (OSS) and one leader of the United People�s Party (UPP) joined the party at Nikashi in Baksa district.

Those who joined the BPF today include Ghanashyam Sarma, president of the OSS central working committee, Mohan Das, adviser of Baksa district OSS, Ghanashyam Kalita, vice president of Baksa district OSS, Somnath Adhikary, president of Mushalpur Anchalik OSS, Ranjit Kalita, Manab Choudhury, Omnath Sarma, Biswa Pokhrel and Debi Guragain, besides Padma Adhikary, finance secretary of Dihira Block UPP.
