KALIABOR, Dec 16 - A book titled Kaliaboror Pora Karakoram, written by retired IBTP officer Nalin Kumar Bora, was released by former State Industry Minister Gunin Hazarika in a function held on Tuesday at Kaliabor Sakha Sahitya Sabha Bhaban.

Organized under the auspices of Sakha Sahitya Sabha, it was chaired by Hemodhar Hazarika, president of Kaliabor SSS.

Releasing the book, Hazarika said the readers will get various information in the book.

Dr Smrity Kr Singh, Prof of Tezpur Central University, and Dilip Kr Bora, president, Sonitpur Sishu Kalyan Kendra, attended the function as distinguished guests and delivered speeches on the book and praised the writer�s work.

Bora, in his brief speech, welcomed all and explained how he wrote the book after retirement in 1996. If the book is accepted by the readers, he will be grateful and his aim will be fulfilled, he said.

The function was started with a borgeet. Earlier, Biraj Bora, secretary, Kaliabor Sakha Sahitya Sabha, explained the objective of the meeting.
