SHILLONG, Nov 12 - National Book Trust (NBT) in collaboration with the North Eastern Council (NEC) would be conducting a week-long certificate course on Book Publishing from November 15 at NEC secretariat here.
The content of the course includes insight into the history of publishing and business and finance aspect of the publishing world. The course would also include editorial process, copyright issues, production and design, warehousing, promotion and publicity, sales and marketing and book distribution.
Keeping with the changing trend, the course content would also include the arena of electronic publishing (e-books), including phone and mobile publishing.
The course is being conducted for students, professionals and also those who are interested in book publishing, especially anyone who is interested in writing and reading.
