GUWAHATI, Nov 29 � A book release programme was organised at the Dispur unit of GNRC Hospitals where a book, Daktor Aaru Rogir Jugalbandi written by neurologist Dr NC Borah, chairman of GNRC Hospitals, was released.
Senior journalists Homen Borgohain and DN Chakravartty released the book.
In his address as chief guest, Chakravartty lauded the efforts of Dr Borah in ensuring a cordial relationship between doctors and patients in hospitals.
Speaking about the book, Borgohain said that besides being a reputed doctor, Dr Borah was also an accomplished writer on health care.
�He is the only Assamese medical scientist who digs deep and writes about various important issues such as how an ideal doctor should be, what should be the relationship between a doctor and a patient, the role of religious and spiritual thinking in health care and factors which have the maximum impact on a patient�s mind.�
Dr Borah expressed his gratitude to Borgohain and Chakravartty for their support.
