GUWAHATI, June 3 - A book on cuisine titled Pompir Akhalat Byanjanor Juti written by Pompi Sarma Khound was released at a function at Hotel Lily here on Sunday by well-known chefs Atul Lahkar and Jyoti Das.

Appreciating the efforts of the writer, Lahkar said that the book gave a very detailed account of diverse recipes including the traditional Assamese cuisines, and expressed hope that it would greatly benefit the food aficionados of the State.

The event which was anchored by Ritu Gogoi, was attended among others by journalist Tuna Gautam, Priyanka Sarma, Dr Karabi Hazarika Choudhury and Kabita Goswami.
