Bomdila DIPRO passes away

ITANAGAR, Aug 24 - District Information and Public Relations Officer (DIPRO) of Bomdila in West Kameng district, Gocham Taga, passed away early this morning following a massive stroke.

He was 48 and is survived by his wife and two sons.

Though Taga was evacuated from Bomdila to Guwahati, but he breathed his last midway at Mangaldai, an official release stated.

Mourning the premature demise of DIPRO Gocham Taga, Chief Minister Pema Khandu in a condolence message to the officer�s mother, wrote: �An exceptionally upright officer, late Taga was sincere, dedicated, energetic and possessed outstanding qualities as an officer. He was an asset for the State Government.�

�In his demise, the State has lost an officer par excellence who set pinnacles in his chosen career�.I pray Lord Buddha to bestow you with strength to bear the irreparable loss. May his soul rest in peace in his heavenly abode,� the Chief Minister said.

The Directorate of Information and Public Relations too condoled the sudden death of Taga.

His last rites will be performed at his native place Raga tomorrow.
