IMPHAL, Nov 2 - A powerful bomb was found early yesterday 50 metres away from the complex of 109 Central Reserved Police Force (CRPF) battalion located at Mongsangei in Manipur�s Imphal West district, police said.
The bomb was found inside a bush at the southern side of the complex near Mayai Lambi road by passersby who reported the matter to Singjamei police station.
The sophisticated bomb having a timer device with remote control was diffused by the bomb disposal squad of Manipur Police, senior police officers said adding, no one has been arrested in connection with the incident and investigations were on. � PTI
Heroin seized
Aizawl, Nov 2 - Mizoram Excise and Narcotics department officials today seized 11 gm of heroin at Thuampui locality in Aizawl. Sources said that one Rampianmawia (28) living in the same locality was arrested in this connection and remanded to judicial custody. � PTI
