Body of KYKL cadre identified

IMPHAL, June 9 � The Tengnoupal Police today brought to Imphal the body of a KYKL cadre, who was suspected to have been involved in the ambush on the 6th Dogra Regiment on June 4 in which 18 paramilitary personnel were killed. Police recovered the body from Libung village, which is at a distance of around 20 km from Pralaung, where the main ambush took place. Police sent the body to the JNIMS here today. A Tengnoupal Police source told Newmai News that the cadre could possibly have died while retreating after taking part in the ambush. The dead was later identified as Keisam Rajen (29), son of Khamba of Nongdren Maning Leikai of Imphal East district.
