SHILLONG, June 8 � Former Minister and Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) leader, Salahuddin Ahmed was today discharged from the North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS).
Last Friday, Ahmed was granted bail after furnishing a bond of Rs 2 lakh before a local Court. His wife Hasina Ahmed moved the bail application.
The bail was granted with certain conditions laid by the Court of the Additional Deputy Commissioner (Judicial), B Mawrie.
The Court while approving the bail application said that Ahmed cannot move outside the jurisdiction of the Court, he must further report to SP East Khasi Hills district every week. Ahmed has been charged-sheeted under the Foreigner�s Act for illegal entry into the country.
