GUWAHATI, March 5 - Baikuntha Nath Talukdar has been appointed by Govt of India as Technical Member, Petroleum and Natural Gas in the Appellate Tribunal for Electricity (APTEL) for a term of three years.
As a Tribunal member, Sri Talukdar will work in association with the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board.
Talukdar had retired in June last year as the Director General of Hydrocarbons, Govt of India, the upstream regulator of the country. This was stated in a press release here today.
