SHILLONG, Aug 1 � The working president of Meghalaya Hindu Mission (MHM), BN Dutta breathed his last on July 26.
Born in Sylhet, Bangladesh on January 14, 1930, Dutta joined as Welfare Officer in Assam State Electricity Board. After retirement, Dutta joined the legal profession and within 11 years, he was designated as �senior� advocate by the Gauhati High Court.
The members of the MHM held a condolence meeting on July 29 holding a two minute�s silence and prayed for the eternal peace of Dutta.
