GUWAHATI, Sept 19 � A voluntary blood donation drive was organised by the Bhoruka Public Welfare Trust (BPWT), an ISO 9001: 2008 certified NGO and the social welfare wing of ABC India Limited on September 17, at their Beltola campus, on the occasion of the death anniversary of its founder late PD Agarwal, a press release stated.
The Blood Bank Department of the GMCH and ASACS extended full support to the programme. The BPWT organises a blood donation drive on September 17 each year and it has good response from donors. This year MSW students of the ASSAM Don Bosco University donated blood in large numbers.
