GUWAHATI, May 7 - A voluntary blood donation camp will be organised at Marwari Hospitals on the occasion of World Thalassaemia Day on Friday.
Donors from Nokha Nagarik Samity, a voluntary organisation of Athgaon, will donate blood.
�Twenty donors from the Samity will donate blood. Every year, we celebrate Thalassaemia Day at the hospital and some voluntary organisations come forward to donate blood,� said Satya Narayan Sharma, director of the blood bank at Marwari Hospitals.
Two more blood donation camps will be organised at the Hospitals on Saturday and Sunday. Members of JCI Angels and JCI Hunar, two clubs of the city that donate blood every year, will again come forward for an encore.
