BJP will get maximum seats: Ranjit Dass

BAIHATA CHARIALI, Dec 3 - �The BJP-led government in the State as well as at the Centre has been working for the overall development of the people of all sections in the society. The government has launched a number of welfare schemes for the benefit of the rural people and therefore the people of the State will cast their votes in favour of the BJP and accordingly it will gain maximum seats in this panchayat election,� said Ranjit Dass, State BJP president while addressing an election meeting at Bihdia under Kamalpur LAC today. Some AGP workers joined the BJP here under Tapan Dutta.

As today was the last day for election campaigning all party candidates took out rallies in the area to woo the voters. In Pub Kachari Mahal ZPC, BJP candidate Reena Patowary took out a huge rally. Similarly, other candidates of different panchayats, viz., Karara, Jatiabhangara, Singarpara etc., also took out motor cycle rallies. In Bezera ZPC, AGP candidate Utpal Kalita intensified his election campaign at Agdala, Bezera and other GP areas. In Jatiabhangara GP, the BJP candidate for AP member Adit Chandra Deka, in Karara GP, Kamal Deka and in Modartola GP, Bornali Dhing intensified their election campaigns.
