MUSHALPUR, March 17 � �Due to rampant corruption of the leaders of the BPF, development has been crippled in BTAD. The people are looking for a political change to get rid of the corruption as well as for the rapid development and lasting peace in the region. BJP is committed to fulfil the expectations of the people if brought to power in the BTC.� This was stated by Siddhartha Bhattacharjee ,the president of Assam State BJP while addressing a �parivartan samaroh� at Garamdeu near Mushalpur and Anandabazar in Baksa district on March 15 last.
BJP leaders Prasanta Phukan, Manoranjan Das, former BPF leader Malati Rani Narzary who joined the BJP recently also addressed the meeting held under the chairmanship of BJP leader Ranjit Das. Speaking on the occasion, Prasanta Phukan said that BJP will contest in all the BTC seats. A good number of citizens and former student leaders joined the BJP in the meeting.
