KOKRAJHAR, Oct 10 - For the first time, the Bharatiya Janata Party�s Kokrajhar district unit is going to host the State-level executive committee meeting of its ST Morcha from October 12 to October 14 at the Kokrajhar Govt HS & MP school playground at Kokrajhar.
Talking to mediapersons today here at the BJP party office, Bibhuti Borgayari, president of the Kokrajhar district BJP unit also informed that a large number of BJP leaders from different districts of Assam will be participating in the programme.
At the same time, he also informed that a special executive committee meeting of the BJP Kokrajhar district unit will also be held on the first day i.e., on October 12 next at the same venue and the State BJP president Sri Ranjit Dass will grace the function as chief guest while Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma and the Chief Minister of Assam Sarbananda Sonowal will attend the programmes on October 13 and October 14 respectively as the chief guests.
A strong reception committee has already been constituted in this connection for the smooth conduct of the event, he said.
It may be mentioned here that brisk preparations are on for holding the State-level BJP�s organisational meeting here at Kokrajhar.
