TURA, March 17 - In a setback for the BJP, party members in Williamnagar, East Garo Hills, including Mandal committee president, Kullen Sangma, Mahila Morcha president Serola Sangma and Yuva Morcha president Charles Sangma, resigned en masse today following the delay in the announcement of tickets and for not contesting the Tura Lok Sabha seat.
The resignations were submitted by the three leaders and their followers to the BJP East Garo Hills district president today.
The resigning members expressed anger over the continued support to the �most corrupt�, greedy and self-centred National Peoples� Party by the BJP.
