NEW DELHI, Sept 25 - The BJP national executive while hailing Prime Minister Narendra Modis handling of the Doklam stand-off said that during the crisis, constant communication and coordination with Bhutan demonstrated Indias sensitivity towards the interest of friendly neighbours and the governments Neighbourhood First policy.

A political resolution, adopted at the end of the national executive meeting here today, said that the skill, patience and firmness shown by the leadership while dealing with Doklam dispute has not only strengthened the security concerns of the nation but also enhanced the prestige of India in the world. This is a sign of mature politics and diplomatic victory of the government, the resolution said.

The government duly fulfilled its responsibilities when it provided humanitarian relief to Bangladesh for the Rohingya refugees, while ensuring that internal security was not compromised for its 125 crore citizens, the resolution said.

The BJP national executive dwelt at length on the problem of terrorism, saying that right from the beginning, the Central government led by Narendra Modi has adopted a tough policy of zero tolerance towards terrorism and separatism.

The resolution said that the government has taken tough measures in tackling the terrorists and their supporters and the recent actions taken against terrorism along the borders of the country are evident to everyone. In last six months, many terrorists have been neutralised, which has led to downfall of the morale of terror establishment.

The consistent efforts of the Prime Minister highlighting the dangers of terrorism on the global platform have had a tremendous impact, the resolution stated.
