GUWAHATI, March 16 - The Guwahati city district committee of the BJP today held an awareness programme on coronavirus at the PWD Training Centre at Dispur.
The event was attended by a number of party cadres. Senior physicians Dr Pranjal Bharali and Dr Niranjan Kalita were the resource persons during the meeting and they briefed the participants about coronavirus and on ways to prevent its spread.
Speaking on the occasion, State BJP organizational general secretary Phanindranath Sarma called upon the party cadres not to panic and urged them to make efforts to raise public awareness on the issue.
