GUWAHATI, May 10 � Senior journalist, noted author and film critic of Dainik Asam, Bitopan Borborah has been invited to the �68th Cannes Film Festival�, to be held on May 13-24 in France, as a Fipresci Jury member in the main competition section, stated a press release issued by the Cine Art Society, Asom.

Nominated by the International Film Critic Federation (FIPRESCI), Borborah will be part of a nine-member jury, which will select the best films from the main competition section besides Uncertain Regard and Quinzaine/Semain section. His other colleagues in the jury are Mario Abbade Neto (Brazil), Jean Roy (France), Muge Turan (Turkey), Richard Mowe (UK), Alex Masson (France), Steffen Moestrup (Denmark), Clarence Tsui (Hong Kong) and Remy Razek (Egypt), the release added.
