Birth centenary of Munin Barkotoki

GUWAHATI, Oct 16 - To mark the birth centenary of journalist and critic of yesteryears Munin Barkotoki, the Munin Barkotoki Memorial Trust is organising a programme at the auditorium of Vivekananda Kendra on October 18 at 10.30 am. Amit Baruah, resident editor of The Hindu, New Delhi will deliver a lecture on the topic �Outmoded or Valid? Centres and Margins in the Age of Digital Journalism�.

The trust is also going to hold another programme on the occasion at the same venue at 4 pm. Three books on the life and contributions of Munin Barkotoki will be released during the function.
