SIVASAGAR, Oct 30 � Bikash Bora and Trisha Gogoi, both of Golaghat, clinched double crown in the 20th All Assam Major Ranking Table Tennis Championship which concluded at the Boarding Field Indoor Hall here last evening.

The tournament was organised by the Sivasagar Sports Association (SSA) under the guidance of Assam Table Tennis Association as part of SSA�s golden jubilee celebration.

Aleeko Sujalo Hazarika of Guwahati was adjudged as the player of the tournament while Priyanshu Kakoty of Sivasagar and Roma Sisodia of Jorhat were named as most promising players in boys� and girls� categories respectively.

In the closing ceremony, prizes were distributed by LK Mahanta, Manoj Bhagawati, Sanjib Kakati, Hakikur Rahaman, Pabitra Barthakur, Biman Bhagawati and Sarat Hazarika.

The final results: (Cadet girls singles) Trisha Gogoi (Golaghat) bt Abrita Bhuyan (Dibrugarh) 11-5, 11-7, 11-3. (Sub Jr boys singles) Agniv Bhaskar Gohain (Dibrugarh) bt Polash Pratim Borah (Duliajan) 11-4, 11-5, 11-3.
