By Correspondent

NALBARI, Nov 9 - The defeat of the Bharatiya Janata Party in the Bihar election, is a lesson for the party, though it will have no impact in the coming Assembly elections to be held early next year, said the State president of the BJP, Siddhartha Bhattacharya at Ghograpar in Nalbari district on Sunday evening.

Talking to newspersons, after attending a sports meet at Ghograpar, Bhattacharya said, we are committed to learn lessons from mistakes in Bihar and work hard to strengthen the party position in the State in the coming elections. The State BJP has increased its membership from 2.5 lakh to 27 lakh in the last few months, which include people from all castes, communities and religions. According to him, BJP is the only political party in the State which is protesting the corruption and misrule of the States Congress Government. The BJP will surely win the hearts of the people, and get a good result in the 2016 polls, he said.

Bhattacharya, however declining to comment on the debacle of the BJP in the Bihar polls and said that the Congress has no reason to gloat over the result.
