GUWAHATI, March 12 - The Journalists and Literary Pensioners� Association has decided to bring out a comprehensive bibliography of Assamese books published prior to the Vaishnavite era including all the books � both in print and out of print � in order to enable the research students to get dependable ingredients for their research work.
Association president DN Chakravartty also informed about the organisation�s demand that the literary pension be raised from the existing Rs 8,000 to at least Rs 15,000 considering the spiralling price rise.
The association will have its annual general meeting at Icon Academy at 3 pm on March 29.
