GUWAHATI, Dec 22 - On the occasion of the sixteenth anniversary of acting and music institution Gandharba, the eleventh All Assam Bhupendra Sangeet Competition and Jiban Silpi Adya Sarma Memorial All Assam Art Competition will be held at the Hiteswar Saikia Auditorium, Boripara, Maligaon on December 27, according to a press release.
The Bhupendra Sangeet competition has been divided into two groups. Group A will comprise children upto 15 years of age and Group B will comprise competitors above 15 years of age. Considering the convenience of the competitors, the required musical instruments will be provided.
The Jiban Silpi Adya Sarma Memorial All Assam Art Competition will be held among students from classes VI to X on the same day at 3 pm. The competitors will have to bring their age proof certificates and photos for registration of their names.
