GUWAHATI, Nov 7 - The seventh death anniversary of Dr Bhupen Hazarika was observed in Dhaka on Monday jointly by the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy and Assam-based socio-cultural organisation Byatikram Masdo.
A 20-member group from Assam, led by singer Sudakshina Sarma, who is the sister of Dr Hazarika, along with singer Dr Sangita Kakati and others, participated in the event.
Liaquat Ali Lucky, Director General of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy and many other noted artistes from Bangladesh were also present at the event.
