GUWAHATI, April 6 - The Assam State Assembly today announced the names of the recipients of this year�s best legislator award and the newly instituted category of best presentation of Assembly proceedings in the media. Independent MLA from Jonai, Bhubon Pegu has been chosen for this year�s best legislator award, while Dainik Asom journalist Jitendra Kumar Choudhury and Dainik Agradoot�s Arup Jyoti Mahanta will jointly receive the best reporting award. The awards will be conferred at the 81st foundation day celebrations of the Assam Legislative Assembly to be held at the Gopinath Bordoloi Bhawan conference hall here tomorrow.
